How It Works

	Step 1: Select a piece of pottery (also know as bisque). We normally have over 300 items to choose from including functional pottery such as plates, bowls and mugs to picture frames and vases. And for children of all ages, we have figurines and a large assortment of banks. (more during holidays).
	Step 2: On your first visit, we will give you a brief orientation on how to prepare your piece, layer the paints, where to find your supplies such as sponges, stencils, etc. We will show you how to use the stamps, stencils, and transfer papers.
	Step 3: Choose your paints. We offer over 200 underglazes and pottery glazes. Your brushes, water, paint palettes and sponge are already on your table. We have idea books and photo albums for you to browse so you can stir your imagination or bring your own ideas with you. Studio time is $3.50 per half hour (per person painting).
	Step 4: After you have finished painting, your painted piece will be dipped in a clear, food-safe glaze giving your piece a glossy finish. It will be fired in our kiln for 16 hours and will be ready to be picked up in (at most) 7 days. Your masterpiece is now food-safe, dishwasher-safe, oven and microwave-safe.
	Step 5: Once you pick up your finished masterpiece, you can take it home and keep it for your very own or make it that “one-of-a-kind”, hand-made gift for special someone in your life.
